Advanced light settings

In the new Ecdesign 5 update we launch more options for the light settings. Now you can angle lights and combine lights to create even more realistic light effects. By Unlocking the default lights you can move, add or delete lights. You can even angle the lights to your liking.

Example 1. Using default light settings

In this image we simply did an evening render and used the default light setting/position.

Example 2. Using only two custom positioned lights (one used to create a sun effect)

We removed all the default lights and instead place one single light to create a sun effect and one inside the layout.

Example 2. View of the result in 3D

The result will create a more ambient look with a sun effect creating longer cast shadows.

Example 3. Using multiple lights and colors

Here we have added multiple lights with different colors. We also angled and/or changed the alititude of the lights to create a more interesting look to the layout.

Example 3. View of the result in 3D

In 3D view we get a more dramatic because of the different colors and light position.
