Advanced Ecdesign tutorial - How to create a room with cathedral ceilings.

In this blog post we will go through step by step how to create a facility with cathedral ceilings in Ecdesign 5.

Step 1.

Create the outer walls, then split the room with walls.

Step 2.

Raise the wall inte the middle by selecting the blue wall node (move mouse to the end of the wall) and drag up the wall to the height you would like.

Step 3.

Next you select the wall and in the Wall Properties select to HIDE the wall.

Step 4

Finish off by going to the CEILINGS TAB. Raise the ceiling on both sides of the room. This is done by first selecting the ceiling. Raise the ceiling using the ceiling nodes.
