Spice up the layout

Taking the time to add a few interesting interior details can truly take your Ecdesign layouts to a higher level. Here is a sample design of a ski resort fitness center. We added some extra details such as exlusive light fixtures, a photo of the view form the ski slopes and also a social area with two people playing chess. Of course the equipment is presented in the photos, but we chose to focus on the people in the room. This was done to create the look of a social, inviting space to work out in.

Use custom lights to create the perfect look and feel

Take your presentations to the next level with the new light options in Ecdesign 5. See how the number of lights (and use of color) can change the look of the design. In the video we removed all the default lights which are automatically added to a design. Then added more and more light sources to build up the design the way we wanted it. Be sure to test out the LIGHTS tab in Ecdesign 5 and get creative!

Be creative with walls

1. Walls can sometimes hide important information in your designs. One simple solution is to lower the wall height to almost zero on certain walls. This is a great way when you want to show the entire floor plan in one image.

You can add multiple camera view points in Ecdesign 5. This means you can make several changes to a design and always go back to the exact same position. Why not save multiple images showing perhaps how the design can change with other color/ material options.
